Congregational Life Committee

Memorial Receptions:  Members of the Congregational Life Committee serve God and Trinity in a very special way.  They provide food and give compassion to those families who had a family member pass away.  The hope is that a memorial reception allows the family members to share in fellowship with caring friends and family.

Other Receptions:  But it doesn’t stop there.  From hosting a dinner for the confirmands, their families, and the Elders to hosting other receptions and potlucks or assisting other church committees for special church activities, the members of the Congregational Life Committee moves into action.  For larger events, they also rely on other church members to provide food and/or assistance.   CLC also inventories and purchases supplies for the church kitchen.

Also under the umbrella of the Congregational Life Committee are:

Holiday Fair:  You can take part in the Holiday Fair each November.  Volunteers help set up, work and dismantle the entire sale.  During the fair, the kitchen has soup and sandwiches available for purchase.  There is also jewelry, delicious, home-made baked goods, and other “treasures” for sale.  The profits from the donated goods are used for the church membership as well as the people of Flagler County.

Senior Adult Ministry (also known as SAM):  SAM meets throughout the year to enjoy the fellowship of other members on various trips across the area or a simple lunch at the church.

Committee Meetings:  The Congregational Life Committee meets on the first Monday of the month at 10:00 a.m. in the Kepler Conference Room to plan upcoming events.  We invite you to come and see us!
