The nominations committee solicits eligible members to fill deacon and session vacancies that occur during the year and for subsequent classes at the end of each year. A full complement of Deacons (24) includes three classes of eight individuals each, with each serving a three year term (ie., class of 2015, 2016, 2017). The session, when complete (15), includes three classes of five individuals each, with each serving a three-year term. The class of 2017 will be completing their term in January of 2018. Individuals nominated must then be elected at a congregational meeting. Some individuals may be nominated to fill a vacant position for a portion of a three-year term. The committee meets on an as needed basis during the year.
