Personnel Committee

  • Works with senior pastor to promote harmony and efficiency among staff
  • Writes and updates employment agreements and position descriptions
  • Reviews compensation for staff and makes recommendations to Session
  • Reviews terms of call for senior pastor and makes recommendations to congregation at annual congregational meeting
  • Ensures compliance with personnel policies and procedures
  • Ensures compliance with guidelines for safe ministry with children & youth
  • Conducts background checks for staff and volunteers working with children & youth
  • Does Department of Motor Vehicle checks for drivers of children and youth to church events
