Benefits of Investing in the Growth of Presbyterian Churches

There are many places for Presbyterians to invest. There are banks and brokerage firms eager to open an account and establish a relationship.

But here, a Presbyterian investor can put his or her money to work on a mission of great importance: The expansion of the Kingdom of God and the spread of the gospel.

The Presbyterian Investment and Loan Program is dedicated to helping the church fulfill Christ’s Great Commission. It helps churches grow, spread the gospel and meet emerging mission needs in churches that are building, expanding or reshaping their ministry space. Your investment can help new churches build their first homes and existing churches can expand and reshape ministries to serve their communities.

The need for your investment is great. Your commitment is the cornerstone of the church’s ability to respond and will help the church fulfill its promise to future generations.

To you, an investor, when you invest with the Presbyterian Investment & Loan Program, your investments earn interest. The return you receive is competitive with similar types of investments. This is an investment in mission, not a gift! At the end of the term you choose, you may reinvest for another term or redeem all or a portion of your investment.

For most investors this is not “new money.” They simply move existing funds from savings accounts, CD’s and money market accounts into term notes. These investments are identified by the Presbyterian Investment and Loan Program as being made by members of TPC and Trinity will receive credit toward a rebate check which will be applied toward the repayment of the mortgage on our church. This rebate has no impact on the value of the individual investment account. We encourage each of you to give this option your consideration throughout the year.

The minimum investment is only $500.00 and you may select terms as short as 6 months up to 5 years. Every investment, no matter how large or small, is important to the growth of the Presbyterian Church USA!
