TRINITY RECEIVES VOLUNTEER APPRECIATION AWARD

On April 1st, Del and Jeanette Smith attended a Volunteer Appreciation Event hosted by the City of Palm Coast during a City Council Meeting.  Trinity Presbyterian Church was recognized for participating since 2008 in the City’s Adopt-a-Road Program.

A team from Trinity meets on a Saturday morning every two months to remove litter along Palm Coast Parkway between Frontier Drive and Cottonwood Court.  You may have seen the signs the city erected at each end of that section acknowledging Trinity’s participation.

Over the last six years several people have no longer been able to participate, so the team is looking for a few new members.  If you would be interested in joining us, just contact Ross Royce (586-7660) or Paul Eckstein (451-0386) and we’ll add you to the team.  The City (Bill Butler) provides gloves and safety vests.
